Search Calls and Voicemail

Summary

The Search workspace helps you find conversations by what was said, who was involved, or the details you remember from a prior interaction.

Prerequisites

  • Your workspace includes Search.
  • Voicemail search is available only in workspaces where that feature is enabled.

Search calls

1. Choose Calls

In the Search workspace, set Search type to Calls.

2. Enter a natural-language or keyword query

You can search for things like:

  • a caller situation
  • a topic or memory fragment
  • a phone number
  • a summary clue from a previous conversation

3. Refine results

Use filters to narrow the visible set, including:

  • date range
  • direction
  • outcome
  • coach
  • matched source
  • local refine text
  • sort order

If semantic search is not enabled for your workspace, browse and local filtering can still be available.

Search voicemail

1. Choose Voicemail

If voicemail search is enabled, switch Search type to Voicemail.

2. Search by remembered details

Look for voicemail by topic, timing, or message content.

3. Refine voicemail results

Voicemail filters can include:

  • phone scope
  • date range
  • message status
  • transcript language
  • local refine text
  • sort order

When to use Search vs Call Log

  • Use Search when you remember what was discussed but not where to find it.
  • Use Call Log when you want a recent, filterable ledger view of conversations.
  • Use Voicemail Inbox when you mainly need message playback and inbox-style review for one managed number.

Expected outcome

You should be able to find the conversation or voicemail you need without browsing every recent interaction manually.

Troubleshooting

  • If Search shows browse-only messaging, semantic search may not be enabled for your workspace.
  • If voicemail search is unavailable, you can still review voicemail from the Voicemail Inbox when voicemail is configured.
